Musical Moments

Just another weblog

So here’s whats basically going on in my life right now. I’m taking Spanish at school this summer, which sucks BUT I’m living with my best friend which has been great! I just recently ordered my cap and gown, which officially makes me a Senior. I can’t believe that time is already here.  It seems like yesterday that it was my first day of college…how time flies by! My dad recently asked me, “So how does it feel to be a senior in college?” It’s exciting but scary at the same time.  I have SO much to do in the fall.  For one, it will be my last semester of classes as an undergraduate.  Second of all, I have to take the GRE, the PLT, and I have to retake one of my Praxis II tests. I’ve been studying this summer for the GRE….so NOT fun.  I also recently set up a visit at Winthrop University, which is where I plan to go to Graduate School. The visit is in August, and I’m pretty excited about it!

On another note, I’ve been fighting what I thought was allergies, but it has turned into chest congestion/coughing so I think it’s some virus. Hopefully it’ll go away soon!!  In order not to stress over all that I have going on, I try to look at nature while I’m driving to and from school, and tonight I saw something amazing. At about 8:36pm I was driving around a curve, and I saw the sun setting…it wasn’t just any sunset, the sky was pink and purple and the sun was HUGE and PINK! It was breathtaking. That definitely eased my stress for the moment.  God is so good!!

Let Go, Let God

I’m back!

So I did a horrible job at keeping up with this blog, and after reading my friends’ Krista and Caroline’s blogs, it made me want to start writing again. So I’ll be writing very soon!!

Let Go, Let God

First time

First and foremost, thanks to Caroline for helping me think of the title!! Growing up, I tried to keep journals and stuff but I never stuck with it.  I feel since I use the computer so much that this will make it easier to keep up with it.  I have a lot I want to write, but I am pretty tired tonight, so I will definitely write more next time. Until then!!
